Frederique Constant & RedBar Group Announce First-Ever Collaboration

Frederique Constant is excited to announce two limited-edition timepieces made in collaboration with international watch collective, RedBar Group. Following the recent launch of the newest Highlife 2020 Collection, Frederique Constant is releasing two additional models – the Highlife Automatic COSC and the Highlife Perpetual Calendar Manufacture – specially designed by RedBar Group. The two limited-edition models were unveiled during a commemorative virtual webinar hosted by Frederique Constant and RedBar Group on September 12, 2020.

A Natural Partnership

Founded upon a passion for horology and primary mission of bringing watch enthusiasts together in local communities all over the world, RedBar Group has become the world’s largest community of watch collectors since its inception in 2007. In a similar sense, Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 as an independent, family-owned company at the heart of the Swiss watchmaking industry in Geneva, with the goal of making reliable and quality timepieces accessible to as many people as possible.

Two Limited-Edition Models

The two limited-edition models specially designed by RedBar Group are an extension of the recently launched Highlife 2020 Collection and includes the Highlife Automatic COSC and the Highlife Perpetual Calendar Manufacture.

The RedBar Highlife Automatic COSC model is certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute to ensure the movement is made with the highest quality components and meets the strict ISO standards. Hand-polished silver hands with a white luminous treatment and a vibrant red seconds hand contrast against a dark grey dial that is etched with a globe motif and features a date window at 3 o’clock. The 41mm case is made from polished stainless-steel and houses the FC-303 caliber movement, which vibrates at 28,800 alt/h and has a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back, emblazoned with the iconic RedBar Group logo. The RedBar Highlife Automatic COSC is limited to 100 pieces.

The RedBar Highlife Perpetual Calendar Manufacture features the FC-775 manufacture caliber movement with a perpetual calendar perlage and a circular Côtes de Genève decoration, which has a power reserve of 38 hours and vibrates at 28,800 alt/h. Similar to the other model, the case is 41mm in diameter and is made from polished stainless-steel. The dark grey dial includes a globe decoration, hand-polished silver hands with white luminous treatment, white counter hands, and a bold red-colored moonphase to pay homage to the RedBar Group logo that appears on the sapphire crystal case back. The RedBar Highlife Perpetual Calendar Manufacture is limited to 10 pieces.

Both models are presented in a leather-bound collectors case that contains the watch with the original integrated steel bracelet and an alternate grey leather strap with red stitching, allowing wearers to effortlessly transition from a classic to sporty look with one click of a button.
